Take a Break! Online games to enjoy for working millenials
Unwind with games that are not too complicated but are not boring either!
Whether it’s the end of a work day or a short 15 minute break, as a working millennial I usually find myself wanting to have a change of pace during those times. Good thing this site has a lot of games to choose from.
Perfect for us to have working millennials games at bay, when our mind is still in work mode but we need to slowly transition into rest, or if we just need some quick stress relief. There are also a ton of games for kids which is ideal for fun learning.
Here are some of my favorites.
Cash Bank

Play as a cashier that will be giving out change to customers. You have to compute fast since there is a time limit. This will put your subtraction skills to the test! But don’t worry, for an easier mode you can choose to display the amount of change that is needed. Now all you need to think about is clicking on the right denomination of money for the right amount of times. If you want to add difficulty, you can set it up to have centavos. Also good for kids to practice their math skills.
Treze Coins

Another math game, but this time, it’s addition instead of subtraction. You can choose between having denominations of 1, 1 & 10 , or 1 & 5 & 10 to adjust the difficulty. This is simpler than the Cash Bank game. The price of one gumball appears on screen and you need to select a combination of the coins you have to come up with the total price. Buy gumballs until you run out of money. Just in case you need 1s or 5s but you only have 10s, you can change denominations by clicking the icon on the lower right.
Hidden Food

If you are into sharpening your eyesight, try this game. Keep your eyes peeled to search for the objects specified on the top of the game screen and how many of them you need to find. Every round you get a different set of objects to find mixed in a different pile. There is also a time limit. I used to play a lot of spot the difference or find the hidden object games when I was younger so I also like this one.
Office Fight

Sometimes you play games to relieve stress. And here’s one working millenial game that can somehow do that. It’s a version of a target shooting game but in an office setting. To fit the theme, your weapon is crumpled paper. You can upgrade to other office supplies like a ruler when you gain enough coins by hitting targets successfully. Your targets? For a hint of humor and to match the theme, it’s your officemates, boss, and the highest scoring target is the office rat (200 points)! Did I already mention that you can purchase an upgrade to have a TV as your weapon? It’s a bit too expensive to just throw, but seeing it break kind of relieves stress? haha!
Code Panda

If you want to introduce programming to kids, or want to see a cute panda eating bamboo, the game Code Panda is the one for you. The goal is to form a sequence of instructions that the cute panda would take to reach the yummy bamboo. This also reminds me of my school days when I was starting to learn about programming. Directions to choose in this game are north, south, east, and west. If you get to a higher level the Repeat instruction is added. This allows you to repeat a set of instructions for a specified number of times. Later on, you also get the jump instruction which allows you to jump over hedges. The animation when the panda eats the bamboo is so cute and it motivates me to do more levels.
Develobears

Another game to introduce software development to kids is Develobears, featuring the popular We Bare Bears characters. Solve puzzles to design a character and game settings, edit a tune and make your own working millenial gamesbackground music, then test out your game by playing it yourself! This game introduces the whole development cycle to kids and casual gamers. The “Office” updates as the game progresses and you see the bears getting computer upgrades.
Can I just say that the Panda is so cute in this screenshot? Getting a quick nap during breaktime at work, haha!
Numerous options for Business Games and Food Games can also be found on this here. You can work in a flower shop, supermarket, jewelry store, café, and many others. If you are a foodie, then there are a lot of choices for you – pizza, hotdog, burgers, ice cream, enjoy while making your favorite snack virtually. Don’t be stressed when a wave of customers arrive, it’s all part of the fun challenge! I will not be surprised if you get hungry and grab a snack after playing these food games.
There are also real estate games, one of which features Lego. You can either build structures or blow up structures depending on the game you chose in this category.
A couple of games are also environment inspired like Sorting the Trash which requires segregating your garbage. While games like Wind and Solar introduces the concept of renewable energy, the player’s goal is to harness the maximum amount of energy possible.
Go check out this games page and surely there is at least one game for you or for kids

Kapag nasa work ako naghahanap din ako minsan ng gagawin kapag nabobored na ako. Kapag sobrang tiring na rin ng work ay naghahanap ako ng pwedeng pamparelax kahit ilang minuto lang. Thanks for sharing this site para makapaglaro ng iba’t ibang games during a short break from work.
