This year is the best time to file for applications such as Transfer of Ownership with PCCI (Philippine Canine Club, Inc).
During the pandemic, everything started to embrace offering services online and this includes registration with the government, agencies, etc. In this post, I’ll share with you the process of filing for Transfer of Ownership with PCCI per my experience.
It’s been years now and I wanted to make things legal before my little baby’s birthday. I’m working 8 hours per day and can’t simply make an appointment on a weekend to personally submit the documents needed by PCCI. Please note that you need to be a member of PCCI before you file a Transfer of Ownership. PCCI has an easy online form to apply for membership. All you have to do is fill up, verify, and pay.

Here’s how I filed for Chichi’s Transfer of Ownership:
- Prepare the document. I have her Pedigree’s Certificate with the breeder’s signature at the back. Make sure that you have the signature of the previous owner and your complete details written at the back of the certificate.
- Send the documents to PCCI. Since we’re in the time of the pandemic, PCCI is keeping its members updated through its social media accounts and has implemented guidelines for all its transactions. I tried to send a message thru FB and from there I got Sir Jojo Rosales’ email. For follow up on documents you may call their hotline nos. 87218345 or 34124104 to 05 or email at info@pcci.org.ph or jojo_pcci@yahoo.com.ph. I asked if it’s ok to send the certificate via Lalamove. They answered all of my inquiries before I finally decided to send the documents. NOTE: The PCCI has waived the penalty charges during the pandemic. They will not be charging penalties for late registrations until further notice.
- Pay the fees. They have a lot of payment options, in my case, I enclosed my payment in the document. After two days, I received an email from them requesting for the delivery fee. I paid the fees thru Gcash and I’m done.
- Wait for the delivery of the new certificate. After a month, Chichi’s new Pedigree’s Certificate is delivered to our doorstep.
If you’re planning to register or transact with PCCI, this year is one of the most convenient time to do so. I’ve seen a lot of complaints, however I think it’s case to case basis since I accomplished mine in a month. I’ve read about new fees to be implemented next year so hurry and do your transactions this year.
Thanks for reading, hope this helps!
