The Colors of Fall – A solo exhibition featuring the paintings of Maria Pilar “Nena” Fall at Alabang Country Club Art Corridor. Exhibition period from December 3 – 31, 2017.

December 9, 4 PM –  It’s a pleasure to witness a successful solo exhibit of mesmerizing artworks by Nena Fall. Her work is expressionistic and reflects her love of nature and life. Her nudes capture the individual sensuousness of the model while expressing the diversity of cultures.

In 1994, she exhibited in a Niguel Art Association juried show in the United States, where she was awarded honors for her work. In 2001 she held a one-woman exhibition hosted in Antipolo by Dr. Joven Cuanang titled “Recuerdos de Mama Desnudas y Floras”; the exhibit showcased nature in many of its distinct forms, taken from her travel around the world. Now is your time to witness her work at Ayala Alabang Country Club titled “The Colors of Fall“.

This exhibit will surely mesmerize and connect to your soul. Her paintings are up for grabs! Come and visit her solo exhibit at Ayala Alabang Country Club Art Corridor from 8 AM to 5 PM.

About the Artist

Pilar “Nena” Fall was born in Cotabato, a small city in Mindanao, Philippines. Nena, as she is known to her friends, moved to Manila where she worked in the Ateneo de Manila Guidance Department for almost two decades.

Prior to People Power I in the 1980’s, she migrated with her two sons to the United States to pursue their American heritage. She remarried, lived and painted first in her studio in San Clemente, California – a small city in the California Riviera. San Clemente is close to Laguna Beach, California, a world-renowned Artist’s Colony, and home of the annual Laguna Art Festival and Pageant of the Masters. She later moved to Los Angeles, California to be closer to world-class museums including Norton Simon, Huntington Gardens, Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) and Getty Museum.

Pilar has now returned to her native land and lives with her husband in Tagaytay. With a breathtaking view of Taal Lake, the house was designed to provide inspiration for her painting as well as to showcase her work.

She has studied under such masters as Robert E. Wood, a past president of the America Watercolor Society (AWS) and member of the National Watercolor Society (NWS), and also under Don Andrews, NWS.
