Inspired by Korean Odyssey’s Jin Sun-mi (played by Oh Yeon-Seo), I’m trying out these lippies to make Korean ombre lips for morena beauties.
“You’re watching too much K-dramas.” Well, just got hooked with Korean Odyssey when I got a free Netflix access for a month. I’m really fascinated by how Jin Sun-mi looks really simple and cute with ombre lips.
Korean ombre lips don’t look heavy at all. They look simple, cute and sweet. Here’s how simple to get it done:
I believe that this style looks good with morenas, too. For this look, I’m going to use VICE Cosmetics! I’m late for the hype but I really want to try these lippies because they have different shades that can go with different lip/skin tone. They’re also cruelty-free and paraben free. I bought these lippies from Watsons at 195.00 PHP each.
I tried swatching the nudes first and Ganderz looks really close to my lip tone while Havey seems to have a natural blend with Ganderz amongst others.
The usual step is to apply lip balm followed by foundation or concealer before you start applying the lippies. I’m afraid of getting irritations so I’ll skip this step and let the natural color of Ganderz do the trick.
Then, I applied a thick layer of Havey at the center of my lip and diffused the color by dabbing the edges in an outward motion.
Here’s the result! If you’re a morena like me, you can try this pair or look for the nearest shade to your lip tone and replace Ganderz. You may also go darker and replace Havey. Anyway, with its vast collection of shades, Vice Cosmetics got you covered.
