It all started with a ROSE.
Finally, I’m sharing with you my skincare staples one by one. Here’s the first on my skincare routine, Mamonde Rose Water Toner. This is my second toner and I got influenced by my mom’s friend who’s using rose water at that time. So, I thought of looking for a Korean brand and that led me to Mamonde Rose Water Toner.
I bought mine from one of my trusted shops on Shopee for 85PHP. This is my second sample bottle and it works well with my skin type that’s combination and sensitive. I’m using it for months now and I can say that this product will remain in my favorites list.
Mamonde Rose Water Toner is a highly concentrated rose water (90.89%) that effectively soothes, nourishes and hydrates the skin. It is made with the world famous Bulgarian Damask roses. This toner is one of the best sellers
Its ingredients include Rose Extract, Butylene Glycol, Prunus Mume Fruit Extract, Nelumbo Nucifera Flower Extract, Glycerin, Ethylhexylglycerin, Carbomer, Peg-61 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Tromethamine, Phenoxyethanol, Fragrance.
Butylene Glycol has a low comedogenic rating of 1 and Carbomer may produce a very low chance of irritation.
I use Mamonde Rose Water Toner as my regular toner. But you can also use it as a mist, a soothing pack, or as part of your makeup base application.
What made me love this product is first, the scent (super legit ng amoy guys!). The scent of roses makes my skincare routine very exciting. I apply this with my fingers after drying my face.
TIP: Dry your face naturally or with your hands rather than using towels that might cause bacterial infections. This is a common practice by Koreans in their daily skin care routine.
It makes my skin feel moisturized and smooth. I can say that my skin’s texture improved after using Mamonde Rose Water Toner. It made my skin feel more hydrated and smooth. I highly recommend this product but then again, it’s best to use the products made for your skin type and concerns.
You can buy Mamonde Rose Water Toner in regular sizes from Korean online shops, Shopee, and Lazada with the average price of 500PHP.
If you decided to give it a try, I’d love to hear your thoughts in the comments section. All for skin care!
