REVIEW | iWhite BB Holic Everyday BB Cream

iWhite BB Holic Everyday BB Cream gained a lot of positive reviews so I’m quite intrigued to try it and see what this product has to offer a sensitive and a combination type of skin.

BB creams basically offer hydration, moisturization and provide coverage for skin imperfections. They give the skin a subtle glow and protection from the sun. iWhite BB Holic Everyday BB Cream promises to provide natural-looking coverage and provide the benefit of both skincare and makeup. I tried using this product to know if this is really worth the hype and how effective it is as a skincare and a makeup in one.

I started using this after finishing my iWhite Facial Cream Whitening Vita. This helped me immediately notice what else iWhite BB Holic Everyday BB Cream has to offer. The first impression is really remarkable.

So, what makes this product worth the hype?

It gives the skin a natural-looking coverage.

My face doesn’t look too light after applying the product. It blends well with my skin tone. Oh, by the way, I’m using BB Holic in Light. It provides a sheer coverage so don’t expect that this product can hide your freckles and acne marks. Use your favourite concealer for your dark circles and blemishes. A little amount of this product is enough for expected coverage, I don’t really put a lot of it because I fear that later on it might cake or become too oily.

It feels light on the skin.

Not only it provides a good coverage, it is also lightweight on the skin. It doesn’t feel thick or sticky. It feels very natural.

It blends well with other products.

It works well with the skincare products that I’m using. I did not encounter any adverse reaction using it with different serums though it doesn’t seem to work well with Elujai Propolis. My face looks dark when I apply this with the serum. It works well under loose powder if you want to retouch and look matte.

It’s affordable

This is very appealing to students because it’s very affordable at 24.50 PHP. So, it won’t hurt if you want to give it a try.

It smells really nice

It feels mesmerizing while putting this product on your face.

There are few things that I don’t like about it though…

• I feel conscious every time I see my face and it looks oily. When it happens, always check if it’s really oily, but it’s not. Well, not after 8 hours.
• My face looks dark when I use it with Elujai.
• It’s sheer coverage, it looks weird when worn without a concealer.
• It has SPF 10 and PA+,  I’d still wear my favorite sunscreen with this.

I think that’s it. For me, this will work for those with a combination and sensitive skin type. It all depends on your expectation. It’s like an 8/10 rating for me.
