Here’s one of my PM skincare routine staple – Ekel Snail Soothing Gel.
Now I understand why my skin loves it.
By the way, Ekel Snail Soothing Gel serves as my mask, serum, and moisturizer. Sometimes, when I feel really dry, I dab a small amount and follow it with my moisturizer.
Ingredients
Snail Secretion Filtrate, Glycerin, Alcohol, Propylene Glycol, Carbomer, Polysorbate 80, Hamamelis Virginiana (Witch Hazel) Extract, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract, Althaea Root Extract, AloeBarbadenis (Aloe Vera) Leaf Extract, Triethanolamine, Disodium EDTA, Phenoxyethanol, Fragrance
Despite having Carbomer and Triethanolamine which can both be comedogenic, Ekel Snail Soothing Gel also has Witch Hazel, Aloe Vera and Snail Secretion Filtrate that makes this product more effective. I don’t even bother having Alcohol as one of its ingredients.
What I love about it…
- I prefer the snail gel because it has anti-aging properties
- It’s almost an all in one product.
- It makes my skin smooth and moisturized.
- It helps in soothing and drying out my acne. Yes, I believe that this is one of the products that help me stay acne free.
I’m very optimistic that all snail gels work well and not just this one. But for me, Ekel Snail Soothing Gel is really worth a try!

I tried their sheet mask! Kahit ayoko ng snails, I think snail essence is really good for the skin.
