I tried using BB and CC creams before, but DD cream? What is DD cream by the way? To answer all of these, I’m trying out Snail Mineral Drop Body DD Cream. Read on and find out how it worked for me.
I found this product from Sampleroom.ph and I got intrigued by this DD cream for the “body”? Yeah, I haven’t tried BB, CC, or DD cream on my body. I assume that it will give me an instant whitening effect from just looking at the package. It felt like it will not work for me because I have uneven dry skin. I thought that it might emphasize and show my dry skin as I apply this instant whitening product in that area. But I will never know until I try, right?

DD stands for “Double Deoxy”. Essentially, this new iteration of the alphabet make up is supposed to take the multi-tasking cosmetic product up another level to which includes anti-aging benefits.

How to Use
After basic skincare, apply an appropriate amount of DD cream onto body skin and pat lightly for better absorption.

The first time I tried this product, I remember Glupa Glutathione + Papaya Skin Whitening Lotion. As expected it has an instant whitening effect on the skin. It smells like powder, not very striking. As I’ve said, I have dry skin that’s a bit flaky in some areas. I had a little difficulty in applying the cream evenly on my skin, but I tried my best to apply just the right amount and gently spread the cream, else my skin will look weird and lighter than expected. My skin felt smooth and the instant whitening stayed the whole day as well as its moisturizing effect.
Though, my flaky skin became noticeable. But still, I’m giving this product a chance, I used it for a few more days and that’s when I got the desirable effects. My flaky skin started to lessen. And my skin became smoother and more lively. I think my skin lighten a bit, maybe you need to use this cream religiously to reduce dark spots and freckles.

VERDICT
What I like about this product is that it made my skin look lighter and moisturized at the same time. You just have to be very careful not to apply too much especially if you have morena/medium tone skin. I like the smell but if you’re allergic to powder or powdery scent, I won’t recommend. You might need to use it religiously to experience its full effect. For almost a month of using it, I didn’t notice that much difference with my blemishes.
If you want to look lighter in an instant, this is a nice pick! You don’t have to worry about flaking after a few days of using it.

You think this will lighten the elbows and legs? Also, i think that 138ml is not enough if you’re gonna have to use it regularly yeah? 😀
On the first few days, especially if you have dry, dark elbows and knees, for example, it’ll look a bit odd or grayish. This is very usual with instant white products. But after a week or so, the skin will soften. You’ll get smoother skin and the product will be easier to apply and blend.
You only need a small amount to cover parts of your skin since you have to spread it evenly. Using too much of this product will make you look like “espasol” 😀 Use the product continuously for better results.
