Nacific Fresh Herb Origin Serum gained its popularity as an effective yet “painful serum”. But really, do you have to go through a “no pain, no gain” experience with this product to make sure it’s effective? Or is it not as bad as it seems?

The Truth About the Nacific Fresh Herb Origin Serum
Nacific Fresh Herb Origin Serum is an antioxidant-enriched oil-based serum known as Jun Ji-Hyun‘s serum. It is made of all-natural ingredients that are formulated to heal acne, tighten pores, and nourish the skin.
This amber-gold serum is non-comedogenic and creates a moisture barrier that deeply penetrates on the skin. It is good for all skin types, including sensitive skin. Even pregnant women may use it but it is still best to consult your doctor.
When you look at the bottle, you might notice a line separating the serum into two (2) layers. This is because the serum is made of botanical oils (Sunflower, Palm, Jojoba, etc), aloe vera water (not purified water) and natural fruit extracts (Orange, Apple, Lemon, Lime, etc). Its formulation does not include artificial surfactants to help blend these ingredients.
Does it hurt? How to Apply?
You may apply as much as needed depending on your skin type. The product has a lot of citrus extracts, thus, you might experience a tingling sensation when your skin is damaged. Eventually, it will lessen as your skin heals and you will notice the difference.
To apply this serum, the first thing that you NEED to do is to shake it well to let the aloe vera water and oil mix. The 50ml bottle is left with a little space to effectively mix the serum. You can use it every day, day or night (or both). If you experience stinging, might as well use it at night. Store the serum in a cool dry place.
The Experience
I tried this serum a few days now, more often at night. The serum is easily absorbed by the skin. It is non-sticky and leaves your skin dewy.
In my case, I know that I have damaged skin due to scratching so the serum did hurt but its actually tolerable. The sensitive parts of my skin did not react and that made me conclude that this serum will work on all skin types. Stinging may still vary on your skin condition.
While using this serum, my skin feels nourished with the right balance of moisture in the different areas of my combination and sensitive skin. I had less acne and I was able to go to the office without any makeup on and still look fresh. It works well with the skincare products I use every day.
In terms of pore tightening, I guess it would take time to see the results and I will update this post once I see visible results. After a bottle maybe?
Is it worth trying? I can say yes, since the effect may still differ from your skin condition, you may not experience stinging and skincare enthusiasts will not rave about this serum if it doesn’t give results.
Does it really hurt? In my case, not really, I actually consider this as a mild serum that fits all skin types.
